Achillea - Cerise Queen
This variety has fern-like, dark green foliage with tall flowers, in stunning shades of deep cherry-red. It is a very vigorous plant and can be very adaptable for sunny locations. This will flower in the first year when grown under high light levels. Because of its stunning vibrant colour, the gorgeous clusters of flowers make for a perfect cut flower in your home and they can also make an attractive dried flower. The plant will grow to an approximate height of 60cm.
Sow from March to late May under glass at 18-21C, and the seeds will germinate in 10-15 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into pots and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out in September or October, spacing 30cm apart for flowering the following summer.
