Courgette - Midnight

Midnight F1 is a slightly speckled courgette with a good flavour and a compact and bushy plant. It is ideal for growing in containers as it is completely spineless and so easier to pick.

Sow from April to May indoors, or mid-May to June outdoors. Sow the seed on its edge to prevent rotting, 1.5cm deep in pots or trays during April to May. Keep under glass at 20°C using good quality seed sowing compost. Sow outdoors mid-May to June direct into growing site 1.5cm deep, with 2 to 3 seeds in each position. Greenhouse sowings should be gradually hardened off once they have developed the first pair of rough leaves and transplanted to growing site in late-May to early-June 60cm apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to one plant per station. Ready to harvest from July to October when fruits are around 10-15cm long.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
