Adlumia Fungosa – Allegheny Vine

This is an unusual and rare climbing poppy relative from North America. It grows rapidly in the spring, carrying corydalis-like ferny leaves and thousands of pink, dicentra-like flowers that can quickly cover a framework or shrub. It is biennial, but easy to grow and self-seeds readily.

Sow finely and evenly and cover thinly with compost or grit. Germinate in gentle heat or in a warm bright spot outside. Grow-on individual seedlings in 3 inch pots before planting out.
