Organic Chicory - Rossa di Verona Dragon
This chicory features barrel-shaped heads of deep red leaves and broad, white ribs.
Sow the seeds direct from June to July and thin the plants out to 20cm spacing. They are ready to harvest from October to December. They can be forced at room temperature for about 3 - 4 weeks by excluding light. Sow in modules from February to April. To get good germination the seed requires a temperature of over 18C. Can be transplanted under cover or outdoors
