Geranium Rubescens

This is a lovely plant from Madeira. It is vaguely reminiscent of a gangly Geranium Maderense, with much-divided stems and slightly smaller, but many more pink flowers. Although it is usually biennial, it will gently self-seed to perpetuate itself. It has a very long flowering season.

Cover with compost or grit 5mm deep, and leave in gentle heat or a warm bright position outside. Grow on individual seedlings in 3" pots. Plant out in a well-drained open position.
