This is a very popular plant with wonderful orange and dark blue flowers above the attractive leathery leaves. It grows well as pot plant.
Cover the seeds with compost or grit 5mm deep. Sow in gentle heat in daylight and keep moist. Grow on individual seedlings in 3" pots, and then plant out in a well-drained sheltered position. Germination may be slow - between 1 and 6 months - so please be patient and do not throw away the pot.
