Beetroot - Boltardy
Beetroot Boltardy is the most popular choice for early sowing and its good resistance to bolting. It produces medium-sized, globe shaped, deep red roots with no rings.
Sow the seed from March to July, thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm with 30cm between rows. Do not transplant. Thin the seedlings gradually as they grow to an eventual spacing of 10cm. Harvest from June to October.
