Kings Seeds Brokali Atlantis F1 40 Seeds

£2.50

Brokali - Atlantis

Brokali is a cross between broccoli and kale, which is why the spelling is as it is. Atlantis produces small but well-formed, delicious, sweet, green heads with long, tender shoots. It is a cross between a Chinese and European Broccoli. Atlantis also has the potential to produce high yields of vegetables which will taste delicious simply boiled up.

Sow the seed from March to May thinly, 1.5cm deep in pots or trays under glass at 13°C. Alternatively, sow in shallow, 1.5cm deep, drills in a seed bed outside. Outdoor sowings should be thinned out to 7-10cm apart. Once plants are large enough lift and transplant them to their final planting positions, 60cm apart and 90cm between the rows. As soon as glasshouse seedlings show their first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm apart or thin modules to one seedling per cell. Gradually harden off before planting out when about 15cm tall to the same spacings as detailed above. Ready to harvest from July to September.
