Brussel Sprouts - Revenge
This is a tall, mid-season variety, which produces a heavy crop of medium-sized, firm, button sprouts with excellent sweet flavour.
Sow the seed from February to April thinly in trays or two seeds per cell in modules under glass at 13°C. Later sowings can be made into a seed bed in shallow drills 2cm deep in short rows. As soon as glasshouse seedlings show their first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm apart or thin modules to one seedling per cell. Gradually harden off before planting out when about 15cm tall. Plant in beds 60cm between plants and 90cm between the rows. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to 7-10cm apart. Once plants are large enough, lift and transplant to their final planting positions, spaced the same as detailed above.
