Cabbage - Greyhound
This is a traditional, early, compact, fast growing pointed cabbage with few outer leaves and good solid hearts. The cabbages have an excellent flavour and texture.
Sow the seed from February to July thinly in pots or trays under glass at 13°C, or later sowings can be made in a seed bed outside or under cloches in shallow rows. As soon as glasshouse seedlings show their first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm apart or thin modules to one seedling per cell. Gradually harden off before planting out, spacing plants 30cm apart between plants and 30-38cm between the rows. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to 7-10cm apart. Once plants are 15cm tall, they can be lifted and transplanted to their final planting positions, spaced the same as detailed above. Ready to harvest from June to October.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
We ship with Royal Mail or for large items where we use DPD or similar reliable carrier.
