Cabbage - Hispi
This versatile variety, produces medium-sized heads with an excellent flavour.
Sow the seed from February to June thinly in pots or trays under glass at 13°C, or later sowings can be made in a seed bed outside or under cloches in shallow rows 1.5cm deep and 15cm apart. When glasshouse seedlings are about 8cm tall, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Harden off as soon as possible for planting in the growing site 45cm apart in April. Thin outdoor sowings to 10cm apart and transplant when about 15cm tall. Ready to harvest from June onwards.
