Bullet hard heads with blue-green colouring to the Savoy like outer leaves.Will stand pretty well any weather that is thrown at it. Crops from late November onwards and will stand for weeks onend without splitting.

Early sowings in trays or modules under glass at 13°C. Later sowings direct into a seed bed in shallow drills 1.5cm (3/4") deep.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Prick off glasshouse seedlings when 6-8cm (3-4") tall into trays 5cm (2") apart. Thin module sowings to single plants. Harden off before planting out in the growing site from early June 45cm (18") apart. Thin outdoor sowings to 4-6cm (2-3") apart as soon as possible, planting in the growing site when 15cm (6") tall to same spacings.

HANDY TIP
A very hardy variety ideal for both mild and colder areas. Firm in well and keep watered in drought conditions. To avoid the disease "club root" in land used for brassicaem ensure a rotation in your crop programme.
