In a light fertile, well-drained soil 1cm (1/2") deep in rows 30cm (12") apart in a sunny position. If temperature falls below 7oC protect with a cloche or fleece.

Thin seedlings in the evening to prevent the crop being attacked by carrot fly. REmove all thinnings from site
