Courgette - All Green Bush
All Green Bush produces high yields of dark green fruits that should be cut when about 8-10cm long. It crops over a long period when harvested regularly.
Sow from April to May under glass, or mid-May to June outdoors. Sow the seed on its edge to prevent rotting, 1.5cm deep in pots or trays during April to May. Keep under glass at 20°C using good quality seed sowing compost. Sow outdoors mid-May to June direct into growing site 1.5cm deep, with 2 to 3 seeds in each position. Greenhouse sowings should be gradually hardened off once they have developed the first pair of rough leaves and transplanted to growing site in late-May to early-June 60cm apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to one plant per station. Ready to harvest from July to October, when fruits are 10cm in diameter.
