Courgette - Tondo Di Nizza
This variety produces light green, mottled, round fruit. The plant has a trailing habit and needs space.
Sow from April to May under glass, or May to June outdoors. Sow the seed on its edge to prevent rotting, 1.5cm deep in pots or trays during April to May. Keep under glass at 20Â°C using good quality seed sowing compost. Sow outdoors mid-May to June direct into growing site 1.5cm deep, with 2 to 3 seeds in each position. Greenhouse sowings should be gradually hardened off once they have developed the first pair of rough leaves and transplanted to growing site in late-May to early-June 60cm apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to one plant per station. Ready to harvest from July to October, when fruits are 10cm in diameter.
