Courgette - Floridor
Floridor F1 is an exciting, spherical courgette. It is a very productive plant with golden, yellow fruit, which makes an attractive and different change to the usual looking courgette fruits.
Sow from April to May indoors, or mid-May to June outdoors. Sow the seed on its edge to prevent rotting, 1.5cm deep in pots or trays during April to May. Keep under glass at 20°C using good quality seed sowing compost. Sow outdoors mid-May to June direct into growing site 1.5cm deep, with 2 to 3 seeds in each position. Greenhouse sowings should be gradually hardened off once they have developed the first pair of rough leaves and transplanted to growing site in late-May to early-June 60cm apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to one plant per station. Ready to harvest from July to October when fruits are around 10-15cm long.
