Gherkin Cucumber is a fast growing outdoor type which produces a mass of small, slightly prickly fruits ideal for pickling.
Sow the seeds from April to early June. Place April sowings under glass at 20-21°C in small pots, and May and June sowings direct outside with 2 seeds to each station on a well prepared bed, covered with glass or polythene. When outdoor seedlings have developed 2 pairs of leaves, remove one plant and allow remainder to grow on and remove covering. Glasshouse sowings should be gradually hardened off for planting out from late May. Water and feed well to ensure rapid growth. Ready to harvest from late July onwards.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
We ship with Royal Mail or for large items where we use DPD or similar reliable carrier.
