Radish - Cherry Belle
Cherry Belle radishes, much like their name, are cherry-shaped and cherry coloured. They contain a pure, crisp, white flesh which is slow to go pithy and woody and can boast a delicious mild flavour.
Sow from March to September, thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm deep with 15-30cm between the rows. During hot weather water the base of the seed drills first before sowing seeds and covering with dry soil. Radish plants do not require transplanting and if sown carefully, thinning is not necessary. Sow a few seeds in any spare areas for a quick crop. Ready to harvest around four weeks from sowing.
