Radish - Sparkler
Sparkler Radish not only has a pretty name, but it also looks attractive on a salad plate, with its bright red round roots with a white tip. This variety boasts a delicous mild flavour and crisp flesh.
Sow from March to September, thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm deep with 15-30cm between the rows. During hot weather water the base of the seed drills first before sowing seeds and covering with dry soil. Radish plants do not require transplanting and if sown carefully, thinning is not necessary. Sow a few seeds in any spare areas for a quick crop. Ready to harvest around four weeks from sowing.
