This variety is early and prolific in growth, and vigorous in habit. It produces purple leaf stems and five ridged pods which are deep green, uniform, slender, smooth and spineless. The fruits are quick to set and starts producing on lower parts of plant.
This variety can be treated in the same way as tomato seed and grown on in the greenhouse to get a good crop. Pick the fruit when young. Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
