Lavender - Hidcote Blue
Lavender Hidcote Blue is a perennial medicinal herb with silvery foliage and shrubby habit. It is compact with dark purple flowers and small silver leaves. This lavender is perfect for a low hedge and enhances any flower or herb planting.
Sow in autumn into pots or boxes in a greenhouse or cold frame at temperatures below 10 C. As seedlings grow, prick off into boxes or individual pots and grow under cover to plant out in early spring. Thin seedlings and transplant when large enough.
It will grow in any garden soil, and will thrive in a dry situation.
