Sweet Pea – New Century Constellation
This is an award winning variety with strong distinct colours. It is a very vigorous, non-tendril variety with unusual acacia leaves. It is a great garden variety with lots of large flowers, which are great for cutting.
Sow in September in flowering site around 2cm deep. Sow later in pots or deep modules, such as root-trainers, 2 seeds to a module or 5 seeds to a pot. Place in cold frame to over winter. Sweet peas like moist, fertile soil with good drainage in a sunny spot. Repeated dead-heading prolongs the flowering period.
