Carnation - Giant Chabaud
This is a traditional wedding flower for button holes. Carnation Giant Chabaud produces large fragrant double flowers with the traditional frilled petal edge. The flowers bloom in a wide range of colours produced on long straight stems making them the ideal choice for cutting, and they grow to an approximate height of 45cm.
Sow from January to May. For early sowings, put in pots or trays under glass at 18°C, under a light covering of vermiculite or compost. For later sowings, place in trays in a cold frame. Seedlings under glass should be pricked off into trays, 10cm apart. When seedlings are about 8cm tall, transplant to the flowering site 25cm apart. Flowers from July onward. Early sowings flower the same year, and outdoor sowings flower the following year.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
