Dianthus Chinensis - Double Mixed
This is a blended mixture of red, pink and white blooms, flowering from July through to late autumn.
Sow from November to February thinly in trays of good compost under glass at 20°C, just covering with sifted compost. Seeds can be sown in cold frames in Autumn. As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site in May. Autumn sown plants can be planted out in Spring. Flowers from July to August. Regular removal of the dead flower heads will greatly extend the flowering period.
