This is a pleasing mixture of deep red, pink and white trumpet-shaped flowers which open during the day.
Sow from February to April onto the surface of pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place and keep at a temperature of between 18-23°C. After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, at 45-60cm apart in a sunny border. Flower from June to September.
