Salvia - Scarlet O’Hara
Exclusive to Kings, this mixture was specially selected and produced on our own farm. The brilliant red flowers bloom early and are held well above the bright green foliage. Many flower spikes are produced and they last well before fading.
Sow from February to March. Sow in pots or trays in a good compost under glass at 21-24°C. Cover the seeds lightly with sieved compost and keep moist. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Grow on and gradually harden off for planting in the flowering site in late May, 25cm apart. Flowers from July onwards.
