Stock - Dwarf Ten Week Mix
This is a quick to bloom variety which is sweetly scented and free flowering. It produces stems of single and double flowers for display or cutting.
Sow from February to March. Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or a warm place until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm apart. Alternatively, later sowings of seeds can be sown thinly outdoors direct into a nursery bed and transplanted into final flowering positions in the autumn. Flowers from June to August.
