Sunflower - Ring of Fire
Ring of fire produces sunflowers with bi-coloured petals with dark red base and golden yellow tips, and a dark centre. The plants reach the height of 120cm.
Sow in April, direct into a weed free flowering site about 2cm deep. Sunflower plants do not need transplanting. Thin out seedlings to about 30cm apart. Plants may need staking in exposed areas. When flowers have faded, hang flowers heads by strings to feed the birds. Flowers from July to September.
