Tagetes - Starfire
The range of colours in this selection defies description with golds, yellows and mahogany with bi-colours, zonings and splashes. It is a truly delightful mixture, with feathery foliage covered in small single flowers.
Sow from February to April. Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination, which usually takes 10-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm apart or plant into baskets and containers filled with a good quality potting compost. Flowering from June onwards.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
We ship with Royal Mail or for large items where we use DPD or similar reliable carrier.
