Clary Sage - Salvia Sclarea
Its other name, Clear Eye, suggests its medicinal role. The large aromatic leaves can be made into fritters. It is also very decorative with large colourful flower bracts.
Sow outside in April/May or August/September in shallow drills covered with fine soil. Water well. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
