Sow in the spring when the soil has warmed, sowing thinly in drills and cover with fine soil. Alternatively, scatter seeds and lightly rake in. The site for planting needs to have full sun and should be protected from the wind, and the soil must be moist with moderate fertility. Keep well watered and do not transplant.
