Wild Flower - Lady's Bedstraw - Galium Verum
This is a straggling creeping plant covered in tiny, yellow, honey-scented flowers. It grows in any good garden soil in a sunny spot and will tolerate dry conditions. It flowers in the summer and autumn, and grows to a height of 45cm.
Sow outside in spring in well prepared soil and cover very lightly with fine soil. Alternatively, sow inside at any time in a seed tray and cover lightly with compost. Prick out when large enough to handle.
