Coreopsis - Early Sunrise
This is a very early and extremely weather-resistant variety. It has a uniform plant habit of bright green foliage and golden yellow semi-double flowers, and it grows to a height of 45cm.
Sow in a cold frame in a good sowing compost, covering the seed lightly with vermiculite after sowing. Keep the soil slightly moist but not wet. It requires light for germination. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into a nursery bed. Transplant into the growing site in September and early October for following season flowering.
