Salad Leaves - Tatsoi
This is a unique Japanese green for salad or cooking, also known as Rosette Pak Choi. It forms a compact thick rosette of small, dark, spoon-shaped leaves. It is very tender and flavoursome for salads, stir fry and soups. It has a long harvest period and is slow to bolt.Late spring or late summer sowings can be made by sowing thinly direct into the growing site in rows 15cm apart. In early spring and autumn, sow under cover. Thin the seedlings as they grow to 30cm apart. Pick individual leaves as required.
