For a colourful and tasty salad this exciting mix of named varieties offers a wide range of tastes and textures. A real plus for gardeners is that all varieties have the benefit, through the latest breeding, to show good resistance to green aphid and mildew.
Sow outdoors. Before sowing, prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Make shallow channels (drills) in the soil 30cm apart. Sow thinly, 1cm deep in the drills. Lightly cover the seeds with soil. Thin out the plants to about 30cm apart when the seedlings are large enough to handle.
