Cabbage - Candisa F1
This is a compact variety with a rounder and shinier ball-head than 'Primo'. Cabbage Candisa has a truly sweet taste and is ideal shredded raw in summer salads as well as in stir-fries or steamed as a cooked vegetable. This variety resists splitting and bolting and each head weighs an average of 800g.
Sow seed thinly 6mm deep and cover with a sprinkling of dry vermiculite or finely sieved compost. Place the seed and tray in a propagator until the seeds germinate. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 7.5cm pots or multi-cell trays.
