Organic Dwarf Bean - Maxi
This compact dwarf bean produces an abundance of quick maturing, long green pods, reaching up to 20cm in length. Dwarf Bean 'Maxi' bears its crop above the foliage making harvesting easier and preventing damage from soil splash. Height: 45cm. Spread: 30cm.
Sow seeds outdoors from May to July, directly into rich, well prepared soil in a sunny spot, 3 or 4 seeds together 4cm deep. Allow 20cm between each group of seeds in the row and allow 45cm between rows. It is also ideal for growing in large pots and containers. Hoe regularly and keep watered, adding a mulch during hottest, dry periods. Pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.
