Lettuce - Crisp Mint
Exclusively launched by T&M back in 1979 as the most crisp and sweet hearted Cos which stood in perfect quality without bolting through the summer. It features an upright habit with noticeable savoyed/bubbled dark green outer leaves, and it has a good sweetness. Use as a sugar cos when young, or as a fully hearted mature lettuce. Also suited as a “cut and come again†salad.
It is ideal for spring and summer sowings. Sow seed thinly at regular intervals 1cm deep, in drills 30-38cm apart. Thin seedlings to 3cm apart for full-hearted lettuce or to 15cm for baby leaf or 'cut and come again' use. Water well during dry periods.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
