Onion - Ciboule White
Forming a clump of slender elongated bulbs with long green stalks similar to chives, Ciboule is a type of perennial bunching onion although it is usually grown as a winter hardy annual. The flavoursome leaves and small bulbs can be used as an alternative to chives in potato salads, soups and omelettes.
Sow seeds March and April thinly, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin to 15cm between plants which will grow to form a clump. Keep watered during dry periods.
