This variety forms a clump of slender elongated bulbs and long green stalks, similar to chives. It is a type of perennial bunching onion usually grown as an annual, and is winter hardy.
Sow from March to April. Sow seed thinly, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin to 15cm between plants which will grow to form a clump. Keep watered during dry periods.
