Lavender - Multifida Oregano
This lavender is often known as the Fern Leaf Lavender because of its attractive foliage all the more enhanced by its oregano fragrance and showy purple flowers. It is ideal for planting in sunny borders or containers.
Sow seed on the surface of the compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of dry vermiculite or finely sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant each seedling into a 7.5cm pot or multi-cell tray. Before planting out, acclimatise plants to cooler conditions by putting outside during the day for a few weeks.
