Lettuce – Hollywood
This is a medium sized Iceberg lettuce ideal for the smaller garden. The heads are of dense, round shape and compact in habit with few waste outer leaves. It has excellent mildew resistance for quality heads throughout the season and is tipburn tolerant.
Sow seed from March to July thinly 13mm deep, in drills 38cm apart directly where they are to grow outside at regular intervals for successional cutting. Thin seedlings to 3cm apart. Keep well watered during dry weather.
