Tomato - Tumbling Junior
This is British breeding of a more compact tumbler type, which is superb in baskets and containers, producing a bumper crop of golden-yellow, sweet, cherry sized fruits, weighing about 25g.
Sow seed February to April on the surface of free-draining, sowing mix and cover with about 6mm of sowing mix. Place in a propagator at 18-21C until germination, about 7-10 days.
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots and maintain temperature at 15C. Acclimatise plants for a few days before planting out in baskets or containers on the patio once frost risk has passed. Feed weekly with a high potash tomato feed once first fruits have set. It is not necessary to pinch out growth or to side shoot.
