Indoors: fill a seed tray or 7.5cm (3in) pots with good, free-draining seed compost. Place at 18-20°C (64-68°F) until after germination. Outdoors: sow 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. August sowings will overwinter. Sow small quantities every 6 weeks to harvest all year round inside.
