This variety features compact 50cm tall, dwarf plants, ideal for growing in containers, in the greenhouse or on a sunny patio outdoors. It produces a huge crop of small, block-shaped green fruits which ripen to a bright yellow, standing out amongst the glossy dark-green leaves.

Sow from March to April. Place seeds on the surface of a free-draining compost and cover with about 6mm of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-21C until after germination, which takes 7-10 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination, and maintain a temperature of about 15C. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots. Plant in final position when plants are 1cm high, 45cm apart. Feed plants weekly with a high potash tomato fertiliser once first fruits have set. It is not necessary to pinch out growth or sideshoot. Harvest regularly to promote further flowers and to extend the picking season.
