Thompson & Morgan RHS Courgette Soleil F1 12 Seed

£2.69

Courgette - Soleil F1

Courgette Soleil is a superb garden variety. Plants in our trials remained healthy and were slower to succumb to mildew than any other courgette variety, thus extending the harvesting period. The bushy plants of Courgette Soleil produce a huge number of smooth, straight, delicious, yellow courgettes, adding colour to your meals. It has early maturing fruits and a long harvest season if cut regularly. These seeds are in the RHS Vegetable Collection.

Sow seeds from mid April to June under glass to transplant outdoors. Alternatively, sow from mid May to early June outdoors. Sow seeds 2cm deep in 7.5cm pots of good seed compost. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 21-25C until after germination which takes 5-7 days. It can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed and risk of frost has passed, 2.5cm deep at 75cm apart each way. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 75cm apart each way. Feed with potash fertiliser once fruiting commences. Water and pick fruits regularly.
