Tomato - Zlatava
This is an unusual tomato, as the flatter rather than round, 80g fruits have an orange skin with a red flesh when ripe. The fruits resist splitting even when over ripe. It is indeterminate, requires support and sideshooting, and is best grown in the greenhouse, or a sunny, sheltered spot outdoors.
Sow at 18-21C on the surface of a good, free-draining, moist seed compost. Apply a sprinkling of vermiculite to cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination. Moist soil conditions required at time of sowing. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots. Plant out into growbags or 25cm pots in the greenhouse, or outdoors.
