Radish - French Breakfast
This is a reliable and easy to grow radish with crops of crisp, crunchy, mild roots. A long standing customer favourite, it is ideal for growing indoors and outdoors.
Sow from March when the soil is warm. For a continuous crop of radishes throughout the summer, sow at fortnightly intervals. Prepare the soil well by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Make 1cm shallow channels (drills) in the soil 30cm apart. Separate seed tapes at the perforation and if necessary cut to desired length. Water the open drill so that the seed tapes sticks to the soil well. Place the seed tape in the seed drill, along each row. Cover the seed tapes and gently firm the soil down using the back of a rake. Water regularly and keep moist but not over wet. Keep the plants cool and moist to prevent running to seed. Harvest as soon as the roots reach a reasonable size to prevent them from going woody.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
