This is an exquisite, easy to grow, mixture of Love in a Mist, bringing together some spectacular double blooms in a delightful blend of blue shades followed by intriguing seed pods. It is a cottage garden favourite which creates a soothing drift of colour in borders and makes a dramatic cut or dried flower.
Sow seeds outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sow the seeds 6mm deep, in rows 30cm. When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to 15cm apart. For spring/summer flowering pot plants, sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in late summer/early autumn. Grow on in cool conditions in full light and water sparingly.
