Carrot - Rainbow F1
Unique breeding over many years has resulted in a true F1 mixture of pastel shades with a diversity in skin and core colours, ranging from white to pale yellow through shades of orange. Washed sliced roots are sweet, juicy and tender, adding an exciting contrast to any salad or cooked dish. All colours of Carrot Rainbow are high in vitamins and other nutrients.
Sow seeds from April to June thinly, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings carefully when large enough to handle to reduce risk of carrot root fly attacks, and cover later sowings with netting or fleece. Keep well-watered for best quality roots. Lift and store mature roots for winter use.
